These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyPetQuiz.com and related pages, features, and services (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for a general audience. If you are under 13, do not use the Service. If you are in the EEA/UK, your country may require a higher minimum age for certain online services. MyPetQuiz provides a dog breed matching quiz and produces recommendations based on your inputs. The results are informational and intended to help you explore options. They are not guarantees and may not be accurate for every person or situation.

• No guarantee: dog behavior and suitability vary widely and depend on many factors such as environment, training, health, and individual temperament.
• Use your judgment: you are responsible for decisions you make, including interactions with animals and any adoption or purchase choices.
• Safety: always follow appropriate safety practices around animals and consult qualified professionals when needed.

The Service may allow you to request emails (for example, emailing results to yourself or sending a contact message). You agree that you will provide accurate information and only submit email addresses you control or have permission to use.

We may implement security and rate limiting to prevent abuse, and we may block or restrict automated or suspicious activity.

If you create a shareable results link, anyone with that link can view the shared results. Share links are designed to be unlisted, but they are not a secure access control mechanism.

• Do not share the link if you want the results to remain private.
• You are responsible for any sharing of links you initiate.

You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you will not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, accounts, or systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including through automated scraping or abusive traffic.
• Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or deceptive communications.
• Upload or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes another party’s rights.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are creating risk for the Service or others.

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to MyPetQuiz and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our prior written permission.

If you submit content to us (for example, contact form messages), you grant us the right to use it to operate and improve the Service, respond to you, and comply with legal obligations. Do not submit sensitive personal information in free-text fields.

If you provide feedback, you agree we may use it without restriction or compensation, and without any obligation to you.

If we include affiliate links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change our recommendations or your obligations under these Terms.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that results will be accurate or meet your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyPetQuiz and its affiliates, owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

In any case, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims related to the Service will not exceed EUR 100 or the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the minimum extent permitted.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyPetQuiz and its affiliates, owners, employees, and service providers from and against claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if needed to protect the Service, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Sections intended to survive termination will survive, including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification.

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes materially affect your rights, we will take additional steps where required by law.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

If you are a consumer in the EEA/UK, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may also apply, and nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under those laws.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
